The New Year Beach Party

New Years Eve 2008 was probably one of the most memorable parties at The Old School Yard. For one night only, the place was turned into the ultimate Tiki bar for what proved to be an awesome Beach Party. This ticket only event was virtually sold out before its kickoff at 7:30pm. Up until 4:30am the place was fuelled by gallons of Tropical Punch, delicious cocktails, heaps of good vibes and was even blessed by the presence of DJ Maxi Jazz (Faithless) mixing on the decks until closing time… What a stylish and funky way to finish 2008 and start 2009 on the right groove!

The entire team at The Old School Yard would like to thank everyone who visted us in 2008. We look forward to partying with you again in 2009. THE OLD SCHOOL YARD CELEBRATES ITS ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

The Old School Yard is now one year old. The bar attracts a cool crowd who are easy going, non pretentious and up for some good old fun. If you’re looking for a quieter night with cocktails during the week or a full on party at the weekends we are sure you will enjoy The Old School Yard.

Since opening we have expanded creating a lovely dance floor and outdoor garden. We also came runner up in the Best Cocktail Menu UK featured in the Class Bar Magazine.

The Old School Yard is Back in Action

We are happy to tell you that we are refurbished and open again. We look forward to all you beautiful people gracing us with your presence. While we were shut we've made a few changes so come down and see for yourself.

As usual we have a few parties for you all to pencil into your diaries.
Our Happy Hour is 5:30pm to 8pm where our Cocktails are £4.50 and selected Beers are £2.50.

We also have some events .If you’re looking for something to write in your diary then the SOS (So Old School) Party on Saturday 24th January is for you. We will be winding it back with Old School Music, relaxed atmosphere, good drinks and good company. Come down and meet the gang.

Movember at The Old School Yard Raised £400

Thursday 27th November was a big hit, we would like to thank all those that came down to The Old School Yard for the Movember Charity party. We raised over £400 but dont worry if you couldn’t make it you can still make donations by clicking this link. The night kicked off with the traditional Old School Yard Happy Hour (Every night 5:30 to 8pm) with 50p of every Finlandia vodka based drink going to charity. We also had a fantastic punch for those who came with a great REAL Moustache and donated all punch sales to Movember. As the night went on we had an auction with two bottles of Finlandia Vodka up for grabs. The crowds were all enjoying the real and the fake Moustache as well as all the fun and games The Old School Yard had to offer such as our football table and the Turtles arcade machine.
